Back from Huddersfield late yesterday and don't even talk to me about Leeds and TGFI's 

Couple of additions to the stash (also got a bit for Hank and his son Max  )

Italeri 1/72 La 5 times 2. From the same second hand trader. I only want the engines and cowlings for my Soviet GB build, so loads for the spares boxes.
Revell (Monogram) 1/72 Tigercat via Aircav. I've done a FAA overall Gloss Sea Blue so not sure about this one. EDSG over Sky ?
AZ Me 1/72 109H-1. I got this at Telford but it somehow ended up with Aircav for a couple of months

For the pile and with vague intentions: a Dragon 1:72 Jagdpanzer IV (for a profound Heer '46 chassis and gun update), a MACO 1:72 Flakpanzer "Ostwind" (actually a re-boxed ESCI kit with a new turret) and some metal gun barrels for a conversion into "something different".

That... actually makes perfect sense. Plus it would have been a much better subhunting platform than looted I-153's and SB-2's in OTL.

It's going post war aluminium.  And no swastikas.

Interesting to hear the backstory for this - kept beyond the original timeline then? There were three Ar's on loan to GHQ Finnish Army for LRRP support so were technically not part of the Air Force; one was returned to the Germans in 1943, the other in 1944, the third was "returned" to the Soviet Union in early 1945.

Re-engining them with domestically produced Mercury copies makes even more sense in that scenario if there were more and/or if they were kept longer.

Plus NMF/aluminium FAF planes are a neglected modelling subject so the more the merrier
