Received off eBay a 1/700 Russian Admiral Gorshkov class frigate, had to settle on the Chinese resin kit as the Gwylam kits are OOP whilst they re-establish their workshop after moving home.
Also picked up from the same source are Russian etched railings, Russian Etched Radar and Russian Frigate decals.

Picked up the new Trumpeter 1/72 SAM-6 ''Gainfull'' .

It wasn't in the stash for very long. It is now in 7 sub assemblies and I just need to sand the missiles before I start painting.

Picked up the new Trumpeter 1/72 SAM-6 ''Gainfull'' .

It wasn't in the stash for very long. It is now in 7 sub assemblies and I just need to sand the missiles before I start painting.

I have been waiting for this to come in to stock for a bit now, who has it please Chris, then I can hunt one down. Cheers.
Today arrived s-model 2 in a box weisels, yes I am a glutton for punishment with these things as they are tiny at 1/72nd scale. going to have their turrets pinched, and armed with anti tank missiles, and anti aircraft missiles. Also an airfix Saladin arrived and the fire support version of the M113 too, the one with the saladin turret. Both will get a wee bit of modifcation, some how or other. Also got 2 M113's by JB for 6 quid, sruffy box but no probs to me, as the contents are reet.

These two arrived on my door step this week.




The Haunebu box is huge! And cost a small fortune to import direct from Squadron. When you factor in the shipping costs and the Import duty with the purchase price, this is easily one of the most expencive injection moulded 72nd kit ive ever brought.

Some of the Armour is 1/100 scale whilst the Aircraft are 1/144 although the figures are 1/72nd

the larger bomber/transport aircraft (Bristol Blenheim Mk.1, Li-2, Pe-4,...) are 1/200 scale.

They have only just been released. So new, Hannants haven't got them in stock as yet.
