Some Yahu instrument panels, if these work out I can see me getting a lot more.

I've got a few of these, find them very good and easy to use

They are quite stunning, if the shop had had more I would have gotten more.

Squadron Hannebau II -

There's a review in the April SAMI which has just clattered through the letter box.

Armourfast 1/72 STUG 33B. 2 kits in the box for £7.50. Very simple models intended for wargamming but quite well detailed. I've been looking at their stand at Southern for at least 3 years and finally succumbed  ;D

My number 2 son (Rheged minimus) rates  Armourfast highly.  He'd be interested to read your thoughts when they are finally assembled

Will do, I'll probably build them once my current builds are finished as a relaxation more then anything else.

Won on ebay:

Sword Spitfire FXIV High Back
Ambrosini SAI 207 - resin kit but comes with an extra vacform.  The latter will get passed on.
Brigade Seafire XV conversion.  Comes with additional resin props, so a nice handy bonus.

Off eBay from China after about a month the DreamModel 1/700 PLAN Type 52C and Type 52D twin kit, now I was going to get this from Hannants but it came out at £55 as opposed to £35 so felt I could accept the longer delivery

Nice kits I already have their Type 54 frigate kit and have the Trumpeter PLAN Carrier (ex-varyag) to give a nice PLAN Chinese Naval task force (interestingly when Trumpeter revised the Kuznetsov kit with the Chinese systems they did the airwing in normal grey plastic rather than the clear plastic which I think I prefer as its not easy to see the parts or where they fit with the clear versions.

Revell Shackleton AEW for a reduced price as the box had been opened
It's a lovely looking kit with the rivets (that just seem to say Shackleton) very finely done
Not sure what to do with it yet. I shall await inspiration, or heaven forbid do it real  world :o

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Finally got round to checking out an LHS I hadn't been to because it is in a weird location surrounded by a freeway, a level crossing and 2 big traffic lighted junctions.
Turns out its got too much diecast for its own good.
I did however leave with the latest issue of ModelArt Australia and a Hasegawa 1/72 Grumman X29 which is just crying out for a Spectrum or WASP paint job.

Yeah, the Diecast Plague can be annoying. Unless it's something that isn't available as a kit and I want it, of course...

How about the X-29 being their version of NASA's T-38 chase planes?

Thanks to an off-hand comment during a discussion with a member of another forum, today I'm humbled and very grateful to add the following to my stash (all 1/72 or 1/76 unless noted):
Airfix Bristol F2B, Dornier Do17 (the old one) and Douglas Dauntless
Matchbox Panzer II Ausf.F
Merlin Gloster Meteor F.8 (doesn't look as bad as I've been led to believe their kits to be)
Novo DH Sea Venom and Hawker Sea Fury
Revell Curtiss SB2C-1 Helldiver, Fokker E.III and Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10
Starfix Alpha Jet (I'm not overly familiar with the type's lines so too early to say how wrong it is  ;))
And, to top it off, the leftovers from a recent kitbash of his: ZTS Plastyk MiG-19 wings and misc bits, and the fuselage, engines and undercarriage of a Starfix 1/280 Lockheed C-5

I feel I'm a very, very lucky boy tonight.

I love the Matchbox 1/76 armour. Mainly 'cause of the bases.  Pretty sure I had a Pz II as a kid as I recognise the ruins.
I'm jealous.

Today the postie brought me a set of 1/72 Linden Hill decals - The Rook: Global Su-25s part 2.  This gives me markings for Chad (the scheme i'm painting the Flogfoot), Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Russia, USSR, Macedonia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan to use at my leisure.

You haven't tried to build it yet................... :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Have to agree. The bases were a very good idea, built a few back in the day although I wasn't quite a kid  ;)

Another addition today: from a fellow member of the Star Wars New Zealand forum, 1.5 AMT 1/6 Han Solo vinyl figure kits. Free to a good home after making a donation to the admin of that site. A good deal I was keen to accept - a very different style of modelling for me.

Vinyl can be a pain to paint. Mind you things may well have changed in the years since I last tried.

1 x    1/35 Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab (Meng VS006)
1 x    1/35 Japanese-made SUV (Takom 2007)
1 x    1/35 Bundeswehr T3 Transporter Bus (Takom 2013)
1 x    1/35 Hilux & Cruiser Pickup Set (2-Door Pickup + 4-Door Pickup) (Meng VS007)

Arrived today - a day earlier than expected.

They all look great in the box, although the T3 Bus was missing the "included figure".

However, that's inconsequential to me (especially if the figure's pose was as stiff as illustrated on the box), I just wanted the vehicles.

Modding them all to right-hand drive - now that's gunna be a challenge! :D
