You could convert them to drones and have them as unarmed Cartel UCAVs used to slip drugs into the US evading detection  ;)

I've toyed with the idea of dronifying a pair of the old, inaccurate Revell 1/144th F-117s and hanging them under a DC-130 before now....

On my return from  N'orn Ireland today I found the Big H had sent my day-glo decals and my 'Sea Baker' kit.

The latter makes me laugh just reading it, I think the AZ guys lost something in the translation.........

Kit, are you going to use the RCN option on the decal sheet of the Sea Baker ?

Probably not Robert, I just wanted the plastic actually and the 'Sea Baker' was the only version Big H had at the time I ordered it.

Are you interested in that bit of the sheet then?

Yes please Kit  <_<  and thanks in advance. Let me know what you want for it

NP Robert, keep an eye on your postbox.  ;D

Many thanks again Kit

Kit, decals have arrived, many thanks, you're an ace
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

The Wooksta!

Uncle Frank has a Fly Bf 108 double kit waiting for me.  Largely bought for the large and varied decal sheet which includes three RAF ones.

Hmm, now there's a thought, looks like I am buying more of them doesn't it. :-\ Those 1/144th scale F-19's make good drones as I have recessed one into my stalled S.H.A.D.O project for an armed replacement for S.I.D, code named S.I.D vicious. I made an armed and bigger version of SID, put a rail gun turret on it, 2 multiple missile launchers on it a long range detection array, and a parasite defensive drone sunk into the side. I need to find that, and see what the damage is to it, and get it finished.

From Cosford, both for much cheapness:

Fujimi 1/72nd E-2C Hawkeye - going in the stash with a view to donating it's rotordome to something else

Italeri Hs123 A-1 - going straight on Ebay to pay for the Hawkeye.... ;)

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

The Wooksta!

Won on ebay:

CMK Seafire FR47 (1996 tool)  Again, another of the older tool I've been looking for.

Eduard Spitfire mk IXc early (Profipack)
Won for the start price of 11 notes with free postage.  Bearing in mind the Hannants price is £16, definitely a clear saving.

Bought online but then picked up from the HS (another new one to me) when I realised how close it was;
The last complete and unopened Dragon 1/72 Modern Soviet Aircraft Weapons Set 3: Rockets and Bombs in Australia (or so it seemed last night).

And while I was in there it was rude not to grab another Trumpeter 1/72 Wyvern as having painted the one I have like a Magpie I've realised it would go well in my collection of RAN FAA whiffs.

I never knew they did a Set 3 or I would have got one when I could

It's a cracker.  ICM do missiles and rockets but other than coughing up for resin bombs are hard to find.

The Air to Surface Missile sprue was included in the Fencer D kit, the Rockets & Bombs is in the Fencer C kit by Dragon or Zvevda

http://www.model-making.eu/products/Suchoj-Su-24-Soviet-Front-Bomber.html

https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/zve/kit_zve_7267.shtml

So pick up a Zvezda Su-24 Fencer kit with the Stag pitot to get those sprues

PS The Fencer E/F or Su-24MR is the supposed recon/ecm variant and doesn't have the weapon sprues from what I recall - (I say supposed as the kit has the same nose as the standard Fencer D kit which is wrong. The new Trumpeter Fencers are far better kits for the D and E variants but are quite a bit more expensive  :banghead:
