Received today from Metro Hobbies in the city, one AZ Models 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf 109H-0 Hohenjager.

Really nice kit

As regards Air Wolf/Blue Thunder. I have no idea what any of you are talking about  :o Does that prove I'm getting old ?  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

From S&S Models:

1/72nd Supacat 6x6 ATV

Resin and white metal wargames model. Pretty rough resin that will need some clean-up (no bubbles though) and the wheel detail is very basic. Also the multi-part driver arrived with one arm missing, but I've e-mailed them about that.

1/72nd Peak one-man MG turret

This is the turret that was retro-fitted to some British Army FV432s and S&S sell it as a separate conversion kit in white metal. It's very nice, and will be going onto a British Army M113 in due course...

1/72 Italeri B-57B reissue
1/72 Trumpeter J-10
Keeper of George the Cat.

The Wooksta!

So, my recent haul (all in 1/72):

From Bungle's stash clearance:
Testors B-2 Spirit - mainly for the SRAM's (which it IRL never carried) to be used in other projects, but the plane itself could be built non-whiffed (already dreading the sanding down of the raised panel lines)
(the following still on the way)
Monogram B-52D - non-whiffed, and if this ever gets built, I might have to scratch a bomb bay, because that "bomb shapes in a plate" is just an insult
Italeri AH-1T - maybe the projected AH-1T+ with shoulder-mounter Sidewinder rails and Hellfires & CBU-57's under the wings
Frog Hawker Hunter - Straight-winged COIN variant "Hawker Harasser", will get the wings and tail surfaces from a Mbox Strikemaster
Frogegawa A-4 Skyhawk - in a crazy camo and less than accurate markings to rile up JMN's, then point out that several PMC's actually operate them in an aggressor role (eg. Draken International, AeroGroup, Discovery Air Defense Services)
Hasegawa F-4E Phantom - since I have a MiG-23 destined for chopping block but not for its wings (nose, intakes, and various other parts for the VG BAC Lightning), maybe VG Phantom?
Airfix Jeep & GMC Truck - fodder for "Vietnam convoy" (yes, probably not entirely accurate in their WW2 form, but "convey the idea" so I don't care)

From LHS:
Italeri XB-70 Valkyrie - the price was right, "missionized" with SIOP or "strategic" camo
Revellobox Beaufighter TF.X - need the rockets for another project (up-armed Walrus in Korea CSAR since early helicopters couldn't handle it), but the base kit could be converted to a "RAF in Vietnam" bird - what if the Firedog Beaus were retained and further modified (gunner's position faired over, regular weapon pylons allowing carriage of bombs and SNEB's)? SEA type camo but with British instead of US colours (eg. Light Earth, Dark Green, Lichen Green uppers, Light Aircraft Grey lowers).

From a local modeling show:
Italeri AH-64 Apache - maybe non-whiffed
Italeri AH-1W SuperCobra - second-hand in open box so it's missing the other turbine intake, will have to scratch it from styrene - OR, fit it with intakes from something else entirely and indeed use this for the "realistic Blue Thunder" (or if we dismiss the idea of a police/CT helicopter-cum-crowd control machine for a military coup, maybe realistic "Thunder Blade" from the classic arcade game which probably just coincidentally looked like 1:1 copy of Blue Thunder)

Those B-2 ATBs I got from him have AGM-86 ALCM shapes in them...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

An up-armed Walrus sounds fascinating!!

If you move the engine to the front you can create the Sea Otter which was based on the Walrus.

By golly I think I still have a couple of the toys I had of this helo. Of course, these were painted differently.. I don't know if I had an original or not but one I seem to remember was a red Sherrif's thing or something...   They always had extendable/retractable tails.
Matchbox did the extending tail one and, dodging copyright, called it the Mission Copter or something similar. I think it still gets re-issued every other year! There was also a proper diecast Blue Thunder toy which I was insanely jealous of a friend for having.
