Revell Star Destroyer, the ickle one.  Bought it to top up the postage on an order (an excuse really, it came more in the end!).  I'll probably use it to practice some paint effects
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

So you can do the big one next

A cheap Heller Saab J 29 (seems to have been re-released recently?) and a Trumpeter 1:72 IS-7 tank - a forerunner of the T-10 and the Soviet Union's most heavy battle tank which only made it to prototype hardware stage.

I'm sorely tempted with the Zvezda kit, especially when I saw it at a reasonable price, although it's the size that puts me off!  Revell do another one that's about 40cm, a bit more handle-able, it's got lights and sound and stuff but otherwise is supposed to be pretty good, means I can play with it too....

The Revell Snap-Tite one is a good base for detail work, I've seen a few very impressive ones around the place.

I had a bit of an explosion yesterday.  First I ended up snagging a Revell boxing of the old Monogram 1/72 F7F-3 Tigercat off eBay for $3.50 and was both surprised and then pleasantly surprised when shipping quote was $37 and then I got at $27 refund.

Then I ended up snagging an Ace boxing of the Revell 1/72 Voodoo F-101B for $7 (and a long subway ride) off the MMZ site (http://mmzone.co.kr the Mecca of Korean scale modelling).

On the way home, I stopped off at a shop I've never been to before and walked out with a couple of ancient Academy 1/72 F6F-3 Hellcats (including the "Princeton" markings one) for $5 each, a 1/72 Meng Fiat G.91 for $20 (which is $15 cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere) and a $20 boxing of a Hasegawa Macross Super Valkyrie VF-1A in 1/72.

All in all, a fun day at the races.
Thanks!

NARSES2

I like that old Monogram/Revell Tigercat  Takes you back to when kits were nice and simple, although it was probably considered the height of sophistication at the time ? It builds up nicely and I've another one still in the stash ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I picked up the recent Academy re-boxing of the Banshee in 72nd, which has the USN gull grey schemes along with the two RCN squadrons.

Also had delivered the Kit World decal sheet for the early Test and Evaluation Buccaneers S2's four in Naval schemes and one in RAF, includes the Martel test bed and later weapons test bed from Spalding Moor. Handy for real and for Whif potential for alternative test beds

Jealous.

I went to Ballarat NNL and it was frikkin' cold.  To warm myself up I partook of the swap and sell and acquired a Revell Messerschmitt 1099 B/1 (turboprops?) and an Italeri Piasecki H-21 gunship (no idea but zenrat industries have no choppers yet).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
