Planning to build a few tanks then?  ;D ;D ;) ;) ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Picked up from Hannants Specials offers the Special Hobby Fairey Fulmar MK.1, nice addition to my FAA collection as half price and more refined than the Airfix boxings of the Vista kit I already have (ideal for Whif ), also got a couple of the ModelDecal Phantom sheets fro Grey and Camo aircraft as stock items

Postie also delivered the Gwylan Models 1/700 Admiral Gorshkov wich I have been waiting for 12 mths to be re-issued, and still worth the wait

From Uncle Frank:

1 Eduard Spitfire mk IX "Royal Combo" - this makes 7 and this one was little more than 40 notes.  It's good value at it's correct price, but £40 is a steal!
2 Magna Martin Baker MB2 - want to give one a Merlin power egg from a Lancaster and possibly retractable u/c
2 Attack Squadron Two stage Merlin sets
2 Pavla Hunter F6 upgrade sets - largely for the canopies, which are going on a pair of Hornets.

I've won a Testors "Heroes of the Sky" Spitfire mk I on ebay.

Not surprising given my track record, really, is it?  No.  But what I really want to know is - who's kit is it?  I know whose it isn't - Revell, Italeri, Hobbyboss, Tamiya, Airfix, Frog, PM, Heller/Smer.  Definitely none of those.  Searching on the web got this sprue shot of the same kit in a double boxing with a 109, which doesn't look too bad either.

Anyway, I'll hopefully have it by Monday...

Beautifully cast and look to be bang on the money.  Except by the time you've shelled out for these and the Tamiya Mosquito of choice, it'll cost teh same as teh forthcoming Special Hobby two stage Mosquito.  Unless you're mental, my advice is to wait.

Now that's a forthcoming kit I wasn't aware of. Good news, especially if it's up to the same quality as their recent Gnats and Mirage F.1's

I think it's still the old tool; I'd have to compare it to my other kit which is definitely the old tool, but it LOOKS like the old tool. Scalemates has a weird gap in the timeline graphic which makes it unclear, so I'm not entirely sure, but I'm alright with that because I    this airplane!!

The just released F-20 Shin Kazama by Hasegawa:

Thanks! Well that's a bummer, but I wasn't expecting a new tool after all so not too disappointed. I definitely had a wave of Deja Vu pass over when I picked up the bag of plastic and looked at it.  ;D   All that said, it sure looks nice... I haven't built one before, but the looks of it have me feeling pretty good about the whole affair. I didn't see any flash anywhere, the detail looks nice but not over done, etc. Didn't test the fitment and no clue the accuracy but I guess I'll know soon enough..
