A Heller 1:72 He 112B; found hints in literature that there had been a Hungarian project/prototype with an indigenous radial engine - should be feasible in hardware form, and be a nice, whiffy project.

Can't remember the name, but I've a resin kit of it somewhere.  Nice casting too.

Yup, the MW-23. Came across that aircraft in a Squadron book covering the He 112.
I also found a donor engine, the nose section from a vintage LS Model Ki-106. It is small enough for the He 112, and also comes with an oval fuselage intersection. Should look interesting!

Kit arrived today, and to my surprise the box contains two complete He 112 Bs, (one of them started, though) - two rarities for the price of one!

Lady Luck smiles on Dizzyfugu!  <_<

Nice, dude!  Those types of pleasant surprises are always fun.

From the Big H and tracked all the way by the Royal Mail. They've even told me that they have delivered it  ;) Although in fairness to them it would be useful if  was still working.

AVI Models 1/72 A5M3a "Claude". Type 96 Carrier Fighter Model 3-3. A prototype fighter for the Japanese Navy which they apparently had no interest in. Was it the inline engine I purely speculate ? Not an aircraft or kit manufacturer I was aware of. The kit has been designed by Rising Models who I have heard of and looks quite nice in the box. Injection moulded with a vac form windscreen. Options for the prototype in 1936 and then 3 What If versions all serving in China. Looks o.k. in the box and we will see how she builds shortly as she will be in the next batch

Also in the same aid package some Print Scale Mottle transfer sheets for a Hein. 2 different types. Thanks for the heads up Mr Zenrat sir

Plus a couple of Eduard masking sets and those wonderful pre-assembled instrument panels by Yahu.

No problemo Mr Narses2.  I am always happy to help other people spend their money.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Picked up another pair of the Ram models British Phantom sheet for early F-4K and F-4M aircraft prior to frontline squadron service. These will be handy for the new Airfix Phantom FG1 when its released at the end of the year

a really nice set of decals, I do fancy the promotionally marked F.4K and F.4M examples on the sheet

Looking at my Putnams it appears the 3a was a version with the French Hispano-Suiza liquid cooled V engine imported from France with the 20mm canon firing through the hub. Japanese Navy didn't want to rely on imported engines which is why it wasn't continued with in our particular trouser leg of time.

Weird coincidence, stumpled upon the A5M3-ko this morning while doing (unrelated!) web research:

Pretty aircraft, felt the immediate urge to kitbash one (have a Hobby Boss A5M in the stash, and certainly a French engine donor kit)!

Tamiya 1/24 Zakspeed Capri Group 5.

Been after one for ages, for some reason I missed the last release and the going rate has inflated since it's been oop.  Managed to find this one in P &S Models in York.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

A mean looking machine for sure, well done. Is going to be OOB or Whiffed?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
