Nice collection.  I've got the kit if The Lady too, lovely kit, must get around to building it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

A couple of days ago, an AMTech 1/48 P-40E with bonus F/L fuselage! There's a guy on TradeMe, NZ's ebay clone, who has a bunch of them bagged and offers them for only NZ$20 which is really good value! I have an F from him which is nearing completion.

I have the old AMT-Ertl Airwolf kit, but I'm building the other option in the kit,
a regular Bell 222.
For two reasons: (1) I really like the 222 and, (2) I loathe Airwolf,
one of the stupidest pieces of crap ever foisted on the TV audience.
A supersonic, silent helicopter?  :banghead:

I guess I like orange and yellow. . .    ;D        Snagged these off the ol' eBay for a pretty decent price so I jumped on 'em.

When you're an adult, you see it for what it is but as a 12 year old?  I thought it was fantastic, certainly better than the TV version of Blue Thunder.  But she looks cool, some of the imagery in the series is iconic (the season 1 scenes with Airwolf's lair in a snowy Monument Valley is outstanding) and Sylvester Levay's theme is sublime.  Season one is easily the best, although later episodes would have flashes of brilliance.

The AMT kit's main flaws are it's toylike nature and the camera fairings above the turbothrusters begin too far outboard, so she looks portly from the front.  Sadly, teh same error is in the superlative Aoshima kit.  And I don't think it can be fixed...

Tamiya 1/24 Zakspeed Capri Group 5.

Been after one for ages, for some reason I missed the last release and the going rate has inflated since it's been oop.  Managed to find this one in P &S Models in York.

There is one on Aussie Evil-Bay ATM being sold with a Monogram IMSA Mustang kit with which the seller states is is possible to create a fully detailed version.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Come on Jon, with the advent of reality TV there is a plethora of much stupider crap being foisted on us daily.   ;D

Weren't the Zakspeed Turbo Capris and the IMSA Mustangs the same cars with different bodyshells? I didn't follow the genre back then, but I recall an article about them in 'Motor Sport' magazine.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Ordered some 1:72 resin tank stuff from S&S Models, including a post-WWII Jagdpanzer Kanone (to receive a different suspension and end up as a Heer '46 vehicle). Curious about the kits' casting quality.

Weird coincidence, stumpled upon the A5M3-ko this morning while doing (unrelated!) web research:

Pretty aircraft, felt the immediate urge to kitbash one (have a Hobby Boss A5M in the stash, and certainly a French engine donor kit)!

Very similar to a couple of options on offer in the box. They suggest natural metal, but I'm not sure about that ? May go for overall light grey.

There are 4 options in the box btw - 3 in overall aluminium and one in brown/green/grey camouflage.
