On something that age you can't beat red or white stripe rubber on slightly wider than stock steelies with trim rings and dog dishes combined with a slight lowering on all four corners.
I do not understand any of what you wrote but I'm happy for you.

The V tailed 109 is a nice kit. Which boxing did you get?

I got the one that only has one decal option because it was a couple of bucks cheaper.  The prototype?  It's not like i'll be building it OOB.

Zac - they had a Snipe and some Fokker Tripehounds.  If they'd had a Brisfit on the shelf then resistance would have been futile but it wasn't to be.

True. A "V" tailed H will be interesting
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Sure looks like it to me! Picture was a standalone, tho. I tried to find more of the car but couldn't! I wanted to see the whole thing. Ah well.

Come to dark side young Zac, and we will give you the secret decoder ring.  ;D

One of my favourites, Pierson Bros. '36 Ford Coupe, California dry lake @1948.
They ran it on the lakes, used it as a daily driver and, as shown, a tow vehicle
for their '34 Ford coupe dry lakes racer.

The car still exists and was restored to its late '40s look, the '34 also still exists and has been also been restored.

New stash material, all 1:72 (of course):

Revell (actually PM Model/Pioneer 2) Ta 183 - to be modded, though
Fine Molds Ki-61-II
Sword Ki-102

The latter two came as a combo, for EUR 20,-. I could not say no. since the Ki-102 alone normally goes for more!

Looking at the Academy Typhoon Mk.IB, it is significantly more detailed than the (older) Airfix offering, so I may build it as an Australian Army (2nd AIF?) ground support fighter & wait for another Airfix kit to use on the Lanc/Manc build.

I get an email from BNA Models stating;

Dear Guy Plachy,

We have restocked a product you asked to be notified about.
Please check it out before it goes out of stock again!

Product Back In Stock
1/72 Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib

Therefore, on order & (hopefully) due Thursday or Friday:
1 x Airfix 1/72 Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib (AX02041)
1 x Meng 1/35 Israel Main Battle Tank Merkava Mk.3D Late LIC (MENG-TS025)
1 x Academy 1/35 Merkava MK.IID "Israel Defense Forces" (AC 13286)

Looks like the Universe is conspiring to get me to build my zenrat-ish Lanc/Manc build ... I'm juggling whether to call it the Lanchester, the Mancaster or, just to go completely off the rails, the Warminster.

Anyone got any B-25/B-26/A-20 cheek/nose guns they don't need & can donate to a worthy cause?

I've got an Airfix B-26 Marauder that I've denuded of various bits and pieces recently. If that kit has the cheek guns included you'd be welcome to them.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
