Where is half way between Manchester and Lancaster?

Hmmmm, it's Blackburn.  A name which is obviously taken already.  Just make sure its ugly...

Mrs z has been in Singapore for a long weekend with colleagues.  I picked her up from the airport this morning and she has brought me back a Hasegawa 1/72 Kawanishi H6K5 "Mavis" (original 1969 release - still bagged but two props have been broken over the years) and a Bandai 1/144 (deep breath) HG Build Fighters Hi-V Gundam Vrabe Tatsuya Yuuki's Mobile Suit.
What a nice lady.
And when I got home the Parcel Man was there with a box from New Zealand (JAYS hobby products) containing vac form He111 clear parts.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Anyone got any B-25/B-26/A-20 cheek/nose guns they don't need & can donate to a worthy cause?

I've got an Airfix B-26 Marauder that I've denuded of various bits and pieces recently. If that kit has the cheek guns included you'd be welcome to them.

If you can, that'd be awesome, Kit!

Otherwise, I'm fairly sure there are some aftermarket one available ... somewhere.

I've found them.

PM me your snailmail address and I'll stick them in the mail.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Actually its Preston but you could go Ribchester which is close by and within Lancashire.

Or I could go Harrogate, which is near the point of an equilateral triangle with Lancaster & Manchester. It's all a bit academic, really, as I'll probably make my mind up & change it several times before I put knife to plastic, anyway.

'Spares or repairs' 1/72 Italeri AC-130A, from the photos it looks as though the fuselage and the wings are there.
There was a proposal by the British to have theirs fitted with Rolls-Royce Tyne engines but I think it would look better with four Rolls-Royce Griffon engines.

Been pretty quiet model wise, but instead of spending all my money on new parts for my Suzuki GS 850GG, I managed to purchase a trumpeter AS-90 and Swedish S tank. Both will be Honduran. I am waiting patiently for the release of the M-109 in 72nd scale by Revell. Also awaiting a Hasegawa Kfir C2, as the italeri F-21 Lion version is big bucks.

1/72 haul from a local forum:
Airfix Stratos 4 TSR.2 MS - latter boxing with the bigger rocket. Commercial satellite launcher? What with the supplied anime girl figures, I cannot resist the double entendre to put her in Virgin Galactic livery
Hobbycraft CF-105 Arrow - somehow I must reconcile my whiffverse where this exists and RAF still buys F-101 Voodoos. Maybe it's first cancelled as per OTL, but the CIA snatches the blueprints and toolings in operation HAVE MOOSE and suitably modified it becomes a cheaper alternative for XF-108 south of the border? Or maybe for reasons it's not cancelled but the UK won't buy it, but Australia will?
Matchbox Do 28 Skyservant - PMC gunship
Revellobox T-2C/E Buckeye - post-Taliban Afghan Air Force?
Revellobox Walrus Mk.1 - upgunned for the Korean War with the rockets from Revellobox Beau, and if I still find some wrecked WW2 models in the bitz box the Vickers GO's may get replaced by M2 .50 cals
