On their way:

1 x    1/35 British LRDG Command Car in North Africa with Figures (Command Car+7 Figures) (TM 32407) Tamiya  -  been wanting this kit for ages, finally available again...

I keep looking at it but what I really want is the Matchbox 1/76 set (or the Revell repop).

Dragon did it in 72nd if that's any use ?

1 x    1/72 Avia B-534 [ProfiPACK Edition] (ED 70105) Eduard  -  mostly for the decals but I have an idea for the kit

A lovely kit. Struts are very near scale size and thus a tad fragile but repay the effort

Good to know, Chris. Thanks!

It's going to be Australian Army, ca. 1940 (in service ca. 1937) - about the same era as the Gloster Sea Gladiator I have for the RAN (in service ca. 1938).

I have the Sword Seafire 17 re-issue which is apparently a double boxing

I noticed that and was sorely tempted. Very good price for 2 kits  I assume there are no transfers in the boxing ? Which is no problem to me.

Looking at the box online, it's the same as the single boxing - same decals but twice the plastic.  Good value and I could well be tempted, but I'm pretty much at saturation point now.

I'll let you know when I get it, I suspect its two kits in one box with two sets of decals. Not a problem for me as mine will be 805 on Ocean and 800 and Triumph using Kits at War decals.

Two sets of sprues, resin and canopies, the MKXV fuselage on the sprue, and the lowback Mk17 on a separate sprue. one set of instructions and 1 decal sheet but stencils and roundels for two full aircraft.

The Wooksta!

Is that two sets of mk XV fuselages, or just one?  If the former, it'd be handy with the spare wing in the Seafire IIIc to do a late mk XII.

Its the XV sprue with the addition of the XVII fuselage on a separate sprue and you get two sets in the box, so two spare XV fuselages

The Wooksta!

Looks like it's well worth getting then.

Good to know as the Matchbox/Revell one is like hen's teeth.

I did a bad thing.  I'm blaming Old Wombat...
Today Hash The Parcel Man brought me:
Tamiya 1/35 LRDG truck with 7 figures.
Tamiya 1/35 Pibber with 3 or 4 figures.

Both kits i've wanted for ages.
I still want the Matchbox 1/76 LRDG truck & jeep though - childhood memories.
