I'd noticed that when it was released, I was impressed at how craftily Revell had managed to get around the licensing!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Is that the bench seat or individual seats in the front of the Torino, where's the red police beacon? :banghead:

Don't know about the seats Mac, and the flasher is prolly in the glove box.  ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

(Thought I'd just cut'n'paste, sorry Chris )

Maybe we can do the Red Pelicans collectively for an RAF display next year?

I also got a Cromwell Mk.IV while I was at it.

Seven of them have gone directly to the stash and one is under construction as a Red Pelican.

The Wooksta!

I do have a pair of Rhodesian Spitfire PR19s, plus a pair that have stalled due to a lack of suitable serials.  I did have intentions of building a Rhodesian Spiteful at some point too.

A Hasegawa A-4E/F and a Trumpeter Jagdpanther, both 1:72 (naturally).

Won a 1/24 Bburago Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II die-cast code .0134 in silver.
Although the Spirit of Ecstasy has been broken off there appears to be a bump in the boot/trunk lid made by the manufacture.
I'm not too sure whether this appeared in the early batches but it seems to be missing on other models.
So I went on line to check out the real world conversions. They are based on the Corniche, mainly Utes or racing cars.
A few have been converted into estate/station wagons and one into a flatbed.
I shall be experimenting with plastic card first, I could buff out the bump and respray in a two-tone finish if this proves an easier option.

Just won on ebay:

AZ Spitfire mk IX Joypack.

This finally arrived on thursday and upon going through it, I find there's an extra sprue - the fuselage sprue.  So it's 3.5 in one.  I'd say that's a result!  Sadly, there's no lower wing but somewhere in me spares box is a Fujimi lower wing and I know that it should fit.  And why?  Because the AZ lower wing is a copy of the Fujimi 14 wing - there's two blocked off holes in the radiator baths that are where the locator pins go on the Fujimi kit.

KiwiZac

I got an early Christmas present yesterday! I've recently moved back to my hometown doing the same job, and someone who used to work here offered me a kit that was an unwanted gift to her son. So the stash is now up one Tamiya 1/72 Jaguar GR.1!

Friends on Facebook may have spotted it in my In Tray in a photo of my new desk I shared yesterday  ;)
