Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

As one of the Wally's who failed to nominate it for you, I second this nomination!

Probably under: Best Sci Fi; Best Multi Jet; (others may come up with more).

(Edit to fix as per post below. )

Probably under: Best Sci Fi; Best Single Jet; (others may come up with more).

Actually, Single Jet wouldn't work. The ASF-X Shinden has two jet engines, one above the other. Not side by side like on other normal jets. You can see it in this page of the instruction sheet. ;) So it would probably fit in a Multi-engine Jet category.

Thank you so much for the nomination of my little diorama of Thunderchild vs. the Tripods! I still am new to all of the things here on the forum and to my shame I only just discovered this section...
Can I also nominate? and if so, does it have to be a new subject or can I also nominate something that already has been named?
dei t dut mout t waiten!

Paper Kosmonaut

Hmm. Let's try.
I nominate Zenrat's Magpie Wyvern,
what a great an inventive paintjob!

Ideally nominations should IMO be new models.  However, I see no harm in older ones (particularly my own, of course, hint! Hint!) being renominated.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ah. So... one nomination per item, you say. *learning as I go*...

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

In the Lighter than Air category -

Not much competition there so far.  ;D ;)

Heading for the Misc category me thinks....?

(Edit; also stuck it into the multi prop as well.. )

Kit's Martin Monterey beaching trolley. A thing of magnificence, and worthy of a nomination in its own right.  I suppose it counts as a "miscellaneous item". I eagerly await the chance to nominate the aircraft too, assuming one or other of the rest of you don't get in before me.
