Not much to show, yet, shooting has to be postponed until the weekend because the light is so poor and the model's size is simply too much for my artificial light capabilities!

Nevertheless, two small final WiP impressions:

The pair of AGM-78 act as K-100 AAMs for the weapon bay, and a close-up with the canards/slow speed rudders in place:

Stay tuned. Clint Eastwood already called on the Red Phone because he wants to fly this thing personally in the 2018 "Firefox" remake...  ;)

I'm definitely painting the top side of the Brawler.  No way I can do NMF that well.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Don't look too closely... the NMF/Metallizer is not really good and even (also due to the shaggy underground). But what really helps are the different metal shades, the (painted) panel lines and some rubbing with grinded graphite, which creates a "cloudy" look and adds an additional, metallic shine. The post shading on the panels helps, too. IMHO, uniform NMF aircraft/models look rather artificial - even if the paint finish is very good. But if you check real life pics, it's the variety of metal shades and the reflection of dents etc. that make the convincing look. The Fastback obviously rather falls into this category...  ;)

NARSES2

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Dizzyfugu

Thank you; they are OOB. But in all-white, the Standard-ARMs look pretty menacing, and they are actually uite similar in size and shape to the (real) projected K-100 long range AAMs.

That's what i'm jealous of - the dirty weathered look you achieved blending it all in with the white panels.

Thank you. Hopefully, phot shooting can start today. Weather looks fine, I have a good array of backgrounds, and some other ideas...

Initial, more "artistic" work. Of course, "Firefox" was re-shot and heavily edited - here's the true movie poster...  ;D

And then the "Fastback" aroused some buzz on US TV - the sheer size of the aircraft let the Pentagon assume that it was a new missile strike aircraft!  ;)

More to some, this huge thing is really hard to set in scene...  :-\

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Love the Poster, that looks like the real deal! Excellent, can't wait to see more!

Thank you very much - glad you like my humble "Fake News" attempts...

Taking pics ain't easy, but I hope the extensive background info will compensate a little.
