Finished...

...gap filling with small pieces of styrene card.  Now the PSR begins...
Anyone know what the microphone shaped things on the trailing edges of the wings and tails and on the leading edge of the intake fairing are meant to be?

Maybe RWR antenas? That's the only thing that comes to mind... but i'm no expert so probably they're supposed to be something else...  ;D

Microphones maybe?

A new system to listen for enemy aircraft heading its way which doesn't give itself away by sending out radar waves, and generates a lot less electronic background signals than an IR system. A bit like an airborne version of the Sound Mirrors along the UK's south coast during WWII.

Thanks folks.
I had to google RWR as it was a new one to me.
I'll study some other builds on the interweb to see what other people have done with them.
But I do like your idea Kit.

Intriguing. The new nose and canopy change the look completely, what a strange beast!
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Just found this Russian stealth scheme which corresponds strongly with how i was thinking of painting the Migraine.

Hmmm, I wonder how that first scheme is meant to work.

The darker shaded area is exactly the same shape as the airframe, so anyone looking down on it from above would know precisely what it was.  :-\
