The Flower-class was itself a stretch of a whale-killer, so a further stretch isn't too outré.

Are you considering in place of or supplemental to the Castle-class?

I guess it would be supplemental . My initial  vision is  sort of Black Swan Class light . So maybe Black Cygnet class. It will involve  2 x 4.7 inch singles and a quad bofors .

So work has started on the stretch Corvette. . Nomad was available  in ww 2 timescale so HMS Nomad she is as it seems apt.
