Right I've put my Big Moderator's hat on over this (something I seldom do). So can I please remind you all about the No Politics Rule and that includes discussions about the practicalities as opposed to the philosophies behind various political and sociological systems of government. If you want to have those then use the PM system.

I know what I mean by the above mouthful even if others don't !

As far as Tophe''s build is concerned, and I have replied to his specific points privately, then as long as it falls within the rules he can build whatever he wants and it can be flown by whatever State/Quasi State/Independent organisation he wants. Maybe after the horrors of WWI the world saw the senselessness of it all, the League of Nations worked and State and political boundaries gradually dissolved. As Terry Pratchet would have said "somewhere there is a trouser leg of time where that happened".

And I thought this would be such a simple G.B. ?  :banghead:

Thank you ladies and gents

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Now I am starting, with the main parts:

(I have finished my previous model: P-38+P-82 mix, both 1/72 Novo, from Igor also)

This is the one that made me busy the previous weeks, sorry...

Thanks!
The KhAI-300 is taking shape (sorry PR19_Kit, I truncated the wings for a tiny span...)

I am so bad at handling thermoformed canopies, I plan to replace them by putty and black colouring, as I do usually.

Aaaaggghhhhhh!  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Perhaps we could have a Starfighters and lifting-bodies GB just to annoy Kit....

It'd just give me more work to do for my entries.

An M2F2 sailplane maybe?  ;D

He'd just build an F104 with U2 wings and IMO it wouldn't look too bad.   ;D

With putty on and on again (before sanding):

Sanding is not a funny task but I started courageously:

This is looking great, I have to agree sanding is such a PITA.  What type of putty is that?
