Thanks, guys!
So, today i didn't do much and last night i didn't paint any details, instead i did some work on the ordnance, assembled the 8 GBU-39 SDB and it's pylons, and when i was going to glue the sensors of the GBU-10, while cleaning some flash holding it between my fingernails, one of them shot out, bounced on a couple of places and disappeared into another dimension because i looked everywhere in a 5 meter radius around my bench and simply couldn't find it...
After 15 minutes, i got tired of looking for it and decided to use something else cause i've got quite a few options in the stash.
Today, i got down to the cave and found the sensor bit just half a meter behind the chair where i was sitting... too late, i've already decided they're being replaced by different weapons so those go into the spare weapons bag... ;D

You monster!  lol

Ah well, the peace of mind knowing you found that lil piece is worth much more than actually using it.  ;D

Yup, it was. At least it's complete and ready to be used on some other build.
So, i finally got the ordnance selected, assembled and ready for paint, but before i begin the airbrush session, i wanna get the details on the fuselage painted so i can clear coat it in the same session.

More soon...

Well, after quite a busy week, today i finally had time to paint the weapons and some fuselage details...

Still have to finish painting the Python missiles and then it's gloss varnish on everything so i can apply decals...

Decals are done, tomorrow the second gloss coat goes on, after painting some more details. After the gloss coat is dry, panel line wash.
I'll try to put up a pic tomorrow.

Ok, wash applied but haven't cleaned it off yet...

Still have to paint some small details after clean up but nothing much, there's only one bit that will require some masking, the in-flight refueling receptacle on the electronics spine. The parts provided by Hasegawa don't have this detail engraved on them so i had nothing as guide for masks and didn't paint it before applying the decal.
Getting a few days off work so i'll try to get this finished by the end of the week.

Looking good!!  Funny bit, the thread was locked for some odd time yesterday for some reason.   :o ;D

I hope you cleaned the wash off quickly. Last time I did one OF COURSE someone started hollering and I had to leave it and by time I got back it was like concrete.  ;D

I noticed that too, weird..............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Yup, i'm not sure what happened... i believe it happened the night before when i was going to make a post but i forced away from the computer...
I only noticed it yesterday when i finally found time to post the updates... my fault, no laptops in bed... ;D

The AK panel liner enamel wash is pretty easy to clean off, even with a dry paper tissue. I've found that if the gloss coat is well applied, the wash comes off with a light scrubbing, and in the hard-to-get-to spots, i just use a cotton bud moistened with white spirit.
I'm finishing it now and in some spots, even though well covered with varnish, i'm having a bit more work than i expected, but i'll get it done.
