Great colors!  Turned out great.

Looking forward to the Yak!

Shows well how tiny the Gnat is, the Sidewinders look positively huge on her! Also, the camo is certainly nice and the weathering works out well

They do don't they ? Unless you know how small the Gnat is they could almost look like some large anti ship missile
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

You can stand alongside a Gnat and look clean OVER it to chat to people on the other side!  :o

The only other jet aircraft that I can recall with the same property is the Vampire, another ground hugger.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That is a very nice build indeed. Your painting and weathering is superb.

Great idea that - a single seat Gnat conversion.

The BD-5J fits that bill as well.

Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

Very true.

Sadly I've never seen one for real to test the hypothesis, but I'm certain you're right there.

Hamm, maybe a Fouga Magister comes close too?

Surely it depends on ones height?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yes, but I'm talking about people of average height, say 5'10" for blokes?

Heh heh.  I resemble that remark....

A BD5 is much smaller than a Gnat, the Gnat is about the same size as a Spitfire, here's a pic of the BD5 against a Spitfire wing and the BD5J is the one with the smaller wing span

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

PR19_Kit

It's the HEIGHT of the fuselage that determines if you can see over it or not. Span and length don't really come into it.........
