Can you use the words 'sleek' and 'Buccaneer'  in the same sentence?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Dizzyfugu

I am aware of that - but with the fixed wings they somehow get a different meaning.

Well, a coffee anyway, and I am lying down already as I fell off the step at my local bike shop today and ricked my right knee. NO fun!  :banghead:

Right, you did say you don't drink tea these days.

And OW - stay safe and heal up quick!

Perhaps you should take more water with it Kit.

I've been studying the possible schemes for this but I can't go past this three shades of sand over pale blue Chad one.
I'll give it read stars though.

I suppose WWI Lozenge is out of the question ?

Seriously I like the Chadian one, but maybe with a darker brown replacing one of the lighter colours. Looks a little to sun bleached/washed out to me.

kerick

Both look good to me. Maybe a little more contrast in the first one as Narses2 mentioned.
Tough choice!

According to the specs its grey, sand and light earth so plenty of wiggle room there.  The only really specific one is Light Earth and even then I can get a very different look depending on if I use Vallejo or Gunze.
I painted the first coat on the underside today.

Light Earth.  D'oh!
I have Dark Earth and Middle Stone (I always want to say Middle Earth but surely that's from the LotR range along with Gandalf Grey).
I will use Middle Stone, USAF Light Grey and Light Sand.
Today I drew on the camo pattern and painted the first coat of Light Sand.
