Was over on the French site Modelstories and in the new releases news was a repop by Atlantis of the old Aurora DC-9 in 1/72nd. Price is $44.99 and decals are by Cartograf for Hughes Airwest & TWA.

The one I used to have in The Loft had its original 1967 price sticker on it when I sold it, it said £3/9/11 if I remember rightly..........

And it's a model of the prototype too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yup, it's frightening when you look at the effects of inflation  :o

The really interesting one is to work out how long you would have needed to work to buy it back then and how long now. Even using such subjective things as the "national average wage" you can get some startling answers on even everyday things.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
