Apparently, Ukraine is attempting to develop a homegrown fighter:

Sounds like a job for Dizzyfugu to me...

Somebody mentioned my name...?  :o

Interesting topic. I had already the idea (and parts for) a Su-25 successor, made in Georgia. But a whiffy, diminuitive MiG-29 would be nice, too.
Thanks for the tip, earmarked.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Reminds me a lot of the Korean T-50, just with two engines and a twin tail?

A "Bravo" from Zvezda's "Planes" kits could be a good conversion basis - someone recently did one in RAF colors here (all black), so why not an Ukrainian alternative?

That just looks like a smaller twin seat F-18 Hornet...

Its like a twin fin version of the Taiwanese ADF Ching Quo fighter in some ways.

if we wait a few days I'm sure Dizzy will have worked out how to recreate it and build it, although I don't think he'll appreciate doing that digital camo scheme somehow  ;D

Don't expect too much too soon, but I've earmerked the idea. I actually consider a modded "Bravo" with a tandem cockpit - since the LBL is only a virtual design yet, there's a lot of freedom. ;)

Green Dragon

Reminds me a bit of a Saab design from around 1975. Found it on Secret Projects, Saab XXXX. http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,683.msg125839.html#msg125839
