Too much seepage under the masking (I really thought I'd got it all down really tight, too! ) & a thin film of over-spray further away than I expected from the paintwork.

Mostly fixed, now, to within Wombat-acceptable limits, although I may do a bit more sanding on some spots & re-spray some white.

Yes, the paint scheme is quite attractive, and well done.  I can tell you love masking     Waiting impatiently to see what is coming next!

Addendum to Consolidated PBY/B-24 kitbash:  Having the parts in hand (should have realized this earlier), there is going to be trouble with the wing location, as the B-24 has more of a mid fuselage wing location.  If I plunk it down into the hull, the props will be practically paddling the thing    Going to have to study this some more.  Maybe a four engine PBY as you mentioned 

In any case, keep pounding out that Grebe, it's going to be awesome!

Painting is almost complete & the main build has the 1st half of the 1st coat of gloss on & drying (could take a while, it's cold & wet here).

Hope to get the 2nd half of the gloss coat down today & maybe some photo's tonight, if I'm lucky.

I'm working on getting the prop's & landing gear ready for fitment - after I've fixed up the new paint flaws, slapped on the decals, semi-glossed & dirtied her up a bit.

Oddly, you hardly notice that the engines are on TOP of the wing.
