OK, this is being started for the BtS Floaty GB; the chances of me finishing before the end date is nil, nix nada & zilch but it has given me the incentive to start it.

So, first images:

The boxes

What's in the boxes (well, some of it, anyway)

First cutting done (last night)

What a Sunderland looks like without its belly

My mind is BOGGLING already!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

At least one of them is the right scale.

You'll obviously be scaleoramaing the Tracker down to 1/72.  ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks, guys!

This build has been calling to me for quite some time now & I'm really enthused (Almost like an armour build!) by it. Hopefully it stays that way!

Now this is going to be good.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Interesting combo. Long ago I had the idea of converting a Douglas DB-7 into a fyling boat - this looks similar. And I like much the combination of different scales - looking forward to what becomes of this Frankenstein creation.

Thanks, gents! Hope I can come close to expectations.

And the Sunderland will be a beautiful airliner, from late forties/very early fifties.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Captain Canada

Oh I love it already. The Tracker is one of my all time favourite aeroplanes, so this is going to be good ! Great combo for sure.

Thanks, guys!

Still pondering what to do with the Sunderland, although an armed transport is high on the list at the moment.

Being an ex-Tracker Whacker the old Grey Grumbly is one of my favourites, too.

No ... Although I do have plans to do one of my other Tracker kits as a turbo-prop CoastWatch/RAN Coast Guard/Border Force surveillance/SAR bird.
