An Ify Bridge

The left hand side of the diorama is sparse. It needs some attraction to balance the whole.

Decided to add some drama on the bridge. Approaching the traffic lights is a police car (highway patrol). It broke down on the bridge. There will be a tall policeman, behind the car, halting approaching traffic. The blue beacon will flash during the same time the traffic lights (amber) flashes (for about 15 seconds).



Somewhere along the riverbank will be this angler, seemly to have caught a fish (or a snag).



Had lots of fun playing Dr Frankenstein with these plastic figurines.

My first so-called sci-fi project, at the time is seemed sci-fi, was to build a Tesla coil. Ended up building nine of them. All sizes and configurations.

To add more to the left side, an other boat will be added behind the bridge (top left side).
This one will be made from the left over pieces from the previous two kits. That is, a boat made from two stern sections.

This diorama will replace another one in the museum. It is an educational diorama showing the various buoys and navigational signages to be seen on the river. It was built by Clem and assisted by Peter, two museum members (now passed away). This new boat will be a buoy tender named CLEM-PETER.

The Buoy Tender needs to pick up an old unserviceable buoy that broke loose and drifted upstream. It was found aground near the Wardell Bridge.
