Those of you who saw my earlier thread may have had a chuckle at the discovery of several B-52's and other items found in the loft...

http://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php/topic,43297.0.html

Well exploration of the loft has unearthed more hidden gems. Three large boxes labelled 'Cushions' on two and 'boiler' (our old one kept for parts some ten years ago or so I thought) revealed another two B-52's - both Monogram, 3 x B-2s (2 Revell, 1 Testors) 3 x Neptunes (I recently bought one off ebay so that's 4 now !) 2 Orions, 3 Marlin's and 2 more Frog Shackletons. There were three other surprises being a Testors SR-75 Penetrator (never heard of it) and an AmTech EC-135M/E 'Snoopy', a 707 with a swollen nose weird. The last one was a AModel AN-71 AEWR - now that one I can remember buying for an arm and a leg but I swear I sold it on when my Russian phase passed on.

Again I can't for the life of me remember me buying a single B-52 so how I ended up with 7 is beyond me ! The wife has got the shoe catalogue open again so this is going to cost me. Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund then make me an offer. My arm could also be twisted with offers of smaller easier to hide kits  ;D  especially resin kits.

Pictures available on request.

Also I have several Monogram 1/48th scale kits that were boxed in the shed. The damp has got to them, decals are shot and the boxes smell of mold. Do you reckon there's a market for them ?

I'm a Whiffer, boxes & decals are unimportant ... except in a "Now, about this decomposing box & deceased decals; that's got to be at least $[...] off the asking price, yeah?!" way.

What you got?

Okay, questions:

1. What are the makes and models of the Neptunes?

2. What kind of small, easily concealed things are you into these days? ;)

I'm potentially interested in the SR-75 too...

I should say that most of the kits are still sealed in bags though some, of course, are not. Even so the plastic should be ok.

So here's the list - all 1/48th and all Monogram titles are the box titles (so you can look them up on t'internet ....

F-4 Phantom II
US Navy F-4 (x2)
F-14A Tomcat x2
F-14A Tomcat  (different boxing from the other 2)
F-102 Delta Dagger
F-5F Agressor
F-5E Tiger II
F-20 Tigershark
F-86D Dog Sabre
F-86 Sabre Jet
F-105F Thud
F-105G Wild Weasel x2
F-84F Thunderstreak
Republic F-84F (different boxing from the one above)
F-19 Stealth Fighter
F117-A Stealth
Mirage 2000 with Exocet
SE5A
S Navy TBF Avenger x2
Blue Thunder
Huey Hog

I'm thinking £8 a shot or is that too much (I think that's about a third less than what they are selling on the evil one. Postage etc extra. Discounts available, bribes accepted.

I'm trying to collect as many Magna kits as I can. I'm in to pre WWII, early postwar (late 40s 50s 60s). Modern trainers and smaller transports. The more obscure the better. Oh and a Dragon P-61 would be nice. Finally on the masochistic side I'd like a Mach 2 Savage.

This is the one https://www.scalemates.com/kits/146867-testors-568-sr-75-penetrator Big kit and still sealed ! I have a feeling it was a gift

£35 the pair + £2.50 towards the postage and paypal fees ? Is that reasonable (if you are in good old blighty)

Sorry Rickshaw didn't realise you were off-shore so to speak. I'll need to check the postage to Australia.

How does £17 for the Neptune sound ? The SR-75 well looking at ebay these sell anything from £30 to £60 ! Would £30 be asking to much ? £47 for the two and I'll pay the postage - reasonable ? Really don't like doing this when I don't know what things are really worth .

:banghead:  Sorry I misheard your question - the one true scale, of course,  1/72nd

I know: I've literally never seen the SR-75 without the piggyback Thunderdart before so I don't know either...

Been having a dig for some trade goods - beads, metal cooking pots, cheap whiskey, you know the sort of thing... ;)

Are any of these of interest to you?
