Slightly philosophical but seeing your list made me think a bit and I was wondering what proportion of the global kit production is never built, has numerous places it calls home, but is never built ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well from my part I think I have cornered the market . I think I have found every kit I have so I spent sometime putting them on to Scalemates and ......

OGL may be at a similar level Bungle, but I'm not sure if anyone else on here is.  :o

When Mrs_PR19 and I took our last 'Kit Census' 2-3 years ago we got to 1000 and gave up, but I've weeded quite a few out since then.

The daft thing is if anyone asked how many unmade kits I had I answered (truthfully in my mind) about 500.

SWMBO now reckons that's between 200 and 250 pairs of shoes and now deemed it imperative we go shopping on Easter Monday.

Ah, but has she added up all the pairs of shoes and handbags that she's bought since the dawn of time?

The fundamental difference between buying model kits and handbags and shoes is that model kits are for ever, whereas handbags and shoes are liable to the whims of fashion and get discarded quite frequently, even when they have considerable life left.  ;D ;D

I was surprised at how many I have when the loft was cleared and my models put into the man cave......should stop getting stuff and do a serious amount of thinning out....well into 4 figures....

1434?   Hmmm.  Pretty sure I have more than - there's got to be 500 minimum in Spitfires/Plan items.  I've yet to do any sort of inventory - and if/when I do, it'll be the Spitfires - and any sort of stash thinning would really just be shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.

I fear the day Lee wakes up and thinks "Meh, i've had it with Spitfires, time for a new direction...".
I think there is a mention in the Book of Revelation... :o

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I *may* get bored with whiffing them, but would still have plenty to do real ones...
