Working on a small scale what if, does anyone know if stingers could be launched from an aircraft moving at transsonic / supersonic speeds?

Well US Army Helicopters can carry it so viable for use on small subsonic aircraft, I don't think it would be tested for use at supersonic launch speeds as an aircraft capable of going those speeds has the sensors and capacity to carry more effective larger missiles in the Sidewinder class.

Its ideal though for the likes of the small COIN or Battlefield Aircraft like SABA where they would dart around the battlespace at high sub-sonic speeds.

This is Whiff world.  Put a bigger booster on it and you can use it from any aircraft.  ;)

lol it's actually for a very (VERY) contrived WHIF, I'm going to fudge it a little!
