Thanks for the "resurrection" GB.
As I suppose (and hope) will be done also for the other GB, I have a general question:
If, after the end of the "regular" GB, a member continues working on the model, is it eligible for the next "resurrected" GB, or everything must be left in the state from a GB to the next?

If a resurrection isn't done by the end of the week, then you can either finish it your own time or save it for the next appropriate resurrection thread.  Your call.  The risk is there may not be an appropriate resurrection thread!
So it would be possible to have a one week build taking four weeks spread over as many years, but it'd only be for your own fun.

The plan is to have the "resurrection" section in all future G.B.'s

As for your specific question ? I'll leave that to Kitbasher, the Moderator, as it's his idea in the first place. (classic cop out  ;))

I have a question, I was thinking about vacuforming something for this build. Could I make the molds, vacuform the sheets, and cut them out before the build?  It would essentially be like starting out with a commercial vacuform kit, but this kit would be one I made.

-all kinds of things.

Gondor

I have removed my entries for this GB as I don't think I will be able to dedicate the time required to build anything for it, not even the resurrection build likely to get any further.

Are we meant to state the build before we start off?

I think this is the first GB I've ever taken part in, and it's CERTAINLY the first 1 Week GB I've ever done. It'll be a miracle if I manage it............  :o

No need to announce what you're doing before the start.
Some people do, others don't but it's not as if there is a ban on building the same subject as another entrant and thus no need to "bags" your place.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

OK, thanks Fred, I'll keep schtum until D Day.

I might change my mind and do something else, or NOT do anything at all of course.  ;D

I've changed my mind three times about what I'm going to do... and I think I'm starting to get stressed out by the short timeline. I'm not sure I can build anything that fast... :banghead:
Thanks!

Same story...sick of Jets (so boring to build), half-term with the kids etc etc. Unless its 1/72 and I use a combination of rattlecans I seriously doubt completion :-\

Give it a go.  If you don't make the deadline, don't worry, you can finish it in your own time afterwards. I've taken part in five 1WGB and only made the deadline once.

I know what you mean about changing your mind.  I'd had my mind made up over a week ago, then I realised I hadn't factored in I'm away for three days! :banghead:  I've been looking all through today at something else I might do, I've picked up four kits in the last the few hours.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thorvic

I will have to move my own start time back as busy for the Bank Holiday weekend, but as its conversion of a ship I should be able to catch up fairly quickly (Gin Festival Sat Afternoon so daren't start after that, and got a friend staying over Sunday so won't be free till Monday night.

I think I've decided to do an Airfix 1/72 Fiat G.91

I originally had plans for a F4F-4 Wildcat, but I uhh... couldn't wait and jumped the gun and started working on it in tandem with another Wildcat build I've been posting on in the WIP section...

I think I can use a modified F-8E cockpit tub from the spares box.  So it will really come down to how fast I can scribe some panel lines I think.  I'll give it a go, but I have little hope of completing it on time...
Thanks!

Greg

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
