That a washing machine?   lol

Yep.  Alan built it.  He claims to be embarrassed by it but keeps bringing it to the show.
Ha!  Hilarious. I think it's too cool for school. Now I want to see all kinds of hot-rod appliances.

I built a mouse rod.

It's in bits again now.  I am planning to use the curved top part as part of a 1/25 car body.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Did you call it the "Mighty Mouse?"  ;D ;D ;D

No.  I very imaginatively called it the Mouse Rod.

The East-West Fokker plane is gorgeous.
It is isn't it.  I wish I had one...  ;D ;D ;D
;D ;D ;D

This wishing thing is working well for me.  I found a box containing one on the doorstep today  ;D
Thanks heaps Brad C.  You're a star .

Now, what should I wish for next?  World peace or Katheryn Winnick?

Oh glorious!!! That was pretty quick, aye? Impressive. 9 days...   or 8 days, depending on how ya look at it.     Not too shab. Takes like two weeks or more for stuff to get to me from Canada and we're "attached at the hip!"

You're most welcome. I agree, it'll look good in Zenrat Industries livery. I'm going to build one eventually.. some airliner. Of course, I still have my 1/72 "Troopship" version that will be awesome as well but the civil ones look so nice.

I did an F-27, converted to an FH-227, in the red/white/black Bonanza scheme a long time ago, and it's a very smart looking thing. There's something about the F-27's shape that screams 'style'. The latter Fokker 50s just don't have it although they share the same gene pool.

I went to the Shuttleworth Show today, as I was in the area, and it's usually pretty good, with a good mix of traders, branches and SIGs. So it turned out today with an excellent mix and the weather was very good too.

Not only that, I ran across an old pal of mine, Rob Millinship, who's name you may recognise as he's one of the Shuttleworth Trust's leading pilots. He was a LOT more surprised to see me as he'd heard rumours that I'd died! I was pleased to tell him that such tales were seriously wrong!  ;D

There were a few good Whiffs on show there, not the least of which was The Venerable Mike McEvoy's fleet of VA 559s. What a HUGE aircraft they'd have been if they'd have built them!  :o

Roger Pennny had some good stuff there too, an AEW VC10, a RNoAF SR 177 and a small collection of Stealth aircraft.

And to cap it all, there was an excellent model of an updated CVA-10 carrier, in the guise of HMS Eagle, but I don't know who the builder was.

All of these were on the Milton Keynes New City Club's stand BTW.

I really want one of those 559's, but can't justify the cost of obtaining a fantastic plastic one.

AFAIK it's the only game in town at present, all four of Mike's were the FP kit.

I don't think he's THAT much older than me, that'd make him 86 at least.

Thanks for the pictures Kit, your the same age as my OLDER brother by the way  ;)

Good old Mike, never anything by halves, but I just hate to think how much those 559's weigh ?  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
