PSR mode for now, not much to show.
Thanks for all the suggestions! That's the problem with whiffery, so many choices to make.

Round 2 of PSR.

Underside is now covered.

I had to fill the ginormous gaps around the ailerons. You could throw a baseball through them.

Round 3 applied.

I'm going to search for alternative landing gear wheels and struts. Kit wheels are little better than plastic lumps and too big for this scale anyway. Maybe something from an airliner kit. Hmmm... I have a B-52 kit in the stash........

Thanks for all the kind words and great ideas!
Short sanding session but still needs more putty.

I happened upon a Testors silver paint pen at a local hardware store the other day. I used to use one of these to prime PSR areas to reveal flaws. No mess, no clean up and nice reveal.

Here is the topside with the silver from the paint pen.

And the bottom side.

And more putty.

And more putty.

I had some trouble with the putty sticking to the silver paint when I tried to apply a thin layer. I don't recall that being a problem before. Either the putty pulled away from the paint or the paint came off and mixed with the putty. Oh well, just something to keep in the old tool box for when it works best. At least it revealed flaws so I could fix them.

I've always found an undercoat preventing contact directly between the finish and the putty works well.

Jack Northrop?

"Reimar Horten emigrated to Argentina after failed negotiations with the United Kingdom and China" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horten_brothers.

So, what if those negotiations were successful? I think you'd end up with an aircraft not unlike Kerick's excellent model.

Fascinating!!! I'm throwing in my vote for anti-flash white and faded markings, as well.

Anyway... pretty sharp looking...reminds me of something of the GI Joe universe.

Do you mean in the 'Real' world, or Ours? ;)

Narses2 - you, sir, are giving me ideas ... My lady wife will not thank you.  :) I mean, think of it - one could do this for all three of the V bombers, although the Vulcan is pretty much done already ...

:)

Oh - I vote for Anti-Flash White.

One question - this is intended to be a bomber, yes?
