A question for the Mods if I may?

Is a submission acceptable if it explictly represents a movie or TV show prop used in a science fiction series, rather than an 'actual' piece of sci-fi technology? In other words, it's obviously not a 'real' space-fighter/hover-tank/whatever, it's just a budget & real-world limited Props Dept attempt to simulate one.

The example I have in mind is an Alvis Stalwart used as a moon buggy in the (what-if) third series of Space 1999, or a later reboot of the series.

I will consult with the other mods but for myself I would suggest that is perfectly OK.

The other moderators concur.  It would be OK.

So a question asked earlier, I think,  :-\  are stock sci-fi kits acceptable as entries? I.E. the Airfix Angle Interceptor I have in my stash and other such items from various T.V. shows and films?
If not I do have a Plan B

That's my problem, I have a plan B, also a plan C, D, E, F....  Although really they're all plan A as just as I think I've settled another one leapfrogs into first place.

I've just listed all my ideas, twelve. :o
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Mine will definitely be from a stock kit when I find it. All I'll be doing is giving it a different paint job

Absolutely nothing wrong with using a stock kit.  It is within the rules as far as I am aware.

THE END IS NIGH!! OR IS IT?

About this time in most GBs we have an elephant in the room, which is cruel ( and messy )

so in the name of prevention of cruelty to animals and modellers i will show the poor animal the door, that is to say....... EXTENSION ANYONE?
