great fus white bands...great curve on one of them...how  did you do the masking on that one?
what color did you use for the spinner and blades?
and the little plane on the right is great in that white face decal...got anymore of them?

Apologies Allan...been really busy last few days.

The Primer Brown is Humbrol 160...about as close to the real colour without the hell of mixing

The diagonal stripe was a last minute addition and almost broke me, but all striping was done with good old Tamiya Kibuki tape. I cut very thin strips with a sharp blade on a glass panel for the initial masking. This allows the tape to curve and bend. Once in place I pad out the area to be masked with thicker strips and Bacofoil clingfilm. Works well for me. I use rattlecans for white as I've always found brush-painting this colour a strain. ID Yellow is a mix of yellow and orange paints 60:40 app.

Only built three so far but now working on a Japanese P-47....going to look somewhat different .

'fraid not...came from this sheet  https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MS48027 . Had a certain Japanesey look to it so couldn't help using it
