The Mystery Build

I just got a great idea for a neat little kitbash build, somewhat along the lines of turning a Me262 into a Tintin Shark submarine.  I think, just for fun, I'll post up the in progress pics and see how long it takes for someone to peg what I'm up to.... or until I finish and have to explain.

I'm pretty sure at least two people will have some idea though.

I'm off to the LHS today to grab a Airfix BAe Hawk in 1/72 to use as the start.

Stay tuned...
Thanks!

Cool idea - have you seen this?

Not trying to burst your bubble or anything, but it may be of use?  <_<

I realize after re-reading my post, I should have been more clear.  I meant something along the lines of the Tintin sub because I'd already done a project like that.  You can find all the details here - http://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php/topic,43201.0.html

This mystery build is basically a kit bash attempt to transform some existing kit parts into a recognizable "existing" (albeit fantasy) aircraft that some cultured folks on this board will recognize.

The only real difference is that I'm not just kitbashing from my imagination.  Like the Tintin sub, I'm trying to turn an existing base kit into a subject that has no commercial kit available.
Thanks!

That's the one I was trying to find - I knew I'd seen one here...  :banghead:

So another of the same? Cool - waiting with bated breath.
