Lavochkin La-7 Reno Racer

When I saw this KP La-7 at Cosford for 99p with no decals my first thought was 'Reno racer' as I'd already built a couple last year.





I've got a few ideas for colour schemes, just need to decide which one to go with.

Erm, could some of our Brit members contact Kit, please. Looks like someone hijacked his account and is using it to post silly things. Because surely he wouldn't prop somehing that will result in - perish the thought - CLIPPED wings!

I even built such a Reno racer with clipped wings not so long ago.

Anyway, where do you think all the bits for my normal extended wings come from?

99p?  Bargain.  It never fails to amaze me how a simple thing like no decals renders a kit almost worthless in the eyes of some assemblers.  Still, our gain.

This is an Yak-11 with a similar appearance and it's a real racer. La-7 will look even more vicious. With a bright red paint maybe...
