... and THE plus point is there's zero PSR involved.

We'll see!

I always thought the Seamaster was an amazing looking aircraft, and it's a pity it a) never went into service, and b) the only available models are such a swine to build!

Too bad the kits are bad cause it's planes like that one that sometimes make me wanna break my "fighters only" rule... :banghead:

HUGE progress today, I got all four wheelsets attached to the trolley and it sits flat with all of them touching the ground, and at the right rake angle!

It was a real fiddle getting them all assembled and super-glued in place but it worked out really well.

AND I didn't need any PSR either.  ;D

The whole trolley sitting on its 'assembly jig', a model car box lid.  ;D

The aft end of the trolley, some imgineering here as there's only one pic of this area in the book and it's not too clear.

And to prove it actually works here's the Monterey sitting on the trolley.  Yeah, yeah, I KNOW I've applied some more putty to the airframe, but some parts just looked terrible, so I had to give it another go.

Have you shares in Presto Dizzy ?  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

There's an aftermarket kit that comes in resin or metal.

PR19_Kit

There'll be a few days pause on this build as I'm off doing railway and car things till Sunday.

Plus I've got to figure out how to build the vast number of little brackets and supports and airbag things that still need to be added to the trolley yet.

That trolley is a lovely piece of work. Very nice!

I've always thought the Seamaster should be in silver/NMF with red stars on it. Really looks like something from Beriev!
