Yes of course, and for the A-400M as well if things go to plan.  ;D ;D

Thanks, it took a LOT of work, as you'll know from the build story. I'm not sure I want to do another Mach 2 kit to be honest, but they do make kits of such wonderfully bizarre aeroplanes.  :banghead:

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I'm sure that if you wanted to you could use the SeaMaster as a basis for the Beriev A40/42 Albatross/Mermaid or
Be-200.

Maybe for the A-40, but only the lower hull and part of the wings, but the Be-2000 is a MUCH smaller aeroplane.

I'm suitably embarrassed by all the plaudits, thanks very much.  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I did much of the detail painting last night, but still have to add the canopy frames and do a bit of touching up etc. I'm using Chris' technique of super narrow painted masking tape for the canopy frames, first time I've ever used it, but I won't get that on till Sunday evening as I'm wearing a railway hat this weekend.

I'd get on a lot better if I cloned myself a few times I'm sure..........
