New supply of putty arrived while I was out today

Never knew about the lower item so thought I would give it a try. It's supposed to be a bit thinner so ideal for seams.

Arrived today as expected

1 x 28ml Maskol bottle.  I thought the stuff stank when my old bottle went off....

That is probably the worst smell in modelling I have ever encountered. Apart from certain people at shows  :o

Surely the original Tamiya paint was the worst? It was DIABOLICAL and put me off their products for ages.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Tamiya polyester putty (AKA stinky yellow) is pretty "on the nose".

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Received today from EBMA

1 x Wing Jig      I see a trip to the local D.I.Y. shop tomorrow for some wood glue with a decent nozzle as it is typical or modern items being made from plywood which has been laser cut. Link in the description

After reading people praising the use of certain types of tape for masking I made an order on Amazon for some Whiteboard Tape/Office Grid Marking tape.
Looks like eight rolls or approximately 3mm wide PVC tape as used in the description above. Should last me a fair while I think.

Received a package from EBMA Hobby & Craft today

Paint Rack 17ml, Model PR004 like this https://www.ebmahobby.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=81_63&product_id=51

Hope to get it assembled over the weekend so I can store my Hataka paints better than at the moment.

I've been wearing safety glasses when I am sanding which seems to work. They also work for me as I suffer from Hayfever. Due to the sunny weather that we are experiencing over here in the UK,  I have noticed that there's a lot of dust particles in the air which can be really annoying if they land in your eyes.

A question for people.

I currently use Humbrol Clearfix to attach clear parts and I'm running low so need to get some more. However I must admit I do find it a bit "gooey" and messy and was wondering what others use ?
