Not much visible progress. PSR on the pylons went on, and the cockpit has been almost finished with two washes, dry-brushing and lots of screens and neon-colored lamps.
The opportunity to fetch a second TIE Interceptor pilot did not materialize, so I will have to make do with the duo at hand. Work on them will start today, I think, and the green 1:48 will probably become a Chiss member. Will be hard to tell later, though.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks a lot for the enthusiasm. Cockpit was closed yesterday, and PSR around the canopy started. Gaps galore...  :-\

Wow... I'm impresssd. It's amazing how a pile of plastic and putty suddenly turns into something awesome with a nice coat of paint. Well done. Great work indeed.
Thanks!

Yes, some paint can do magic. Things look a bit rough in the pics - but I did not spent too much time on minute details. After all, the cockpit will be closed and the clear parts are thick and blur any clear view. You can tell that "there is something inside", and given the fact that everything is improvised so far, things look good.

Those figures are pretty cool - where did you get those ?

AH - no wonder I missed it - it was on the first page.  :banghead:

Very slow (reletively...) progress here, due to health issues. Project lay dormant for a couple of days. Canopy has been closed/sealed, and now I try to add some struts with adhesive tape. Hard to tellin the pic, though.

Actually, she'd look pretty good just like that, with a lick of paint!
