Weird, wonderful, and wicked!    This is really great, thank you.  Been rolling this concept around using a P-47 but so far no plastic has been harmed  :-\

I really do like that
It's given me a couple of ideas for an aircraft I've had in mind to do for a while now,
Just need to find the time/plastic/work bench space/mojo

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

A Ju 87 biplane should be feasible, too...  :o

Then of course there's the slip wing Hurricane (the Hillson FH 40)

It's real world, but would make  a first rate Numpty-boggling exercise.  One of these beside your excellent Corsair biplane would cause the occasional apoplexy amongst JMNs.

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Better still: the slip wing Messerschmitt:

Well, until the F4U, all Vought Corsairs were bipes.  ;D
