Wow.

Are you on FB? Michael is currently accepting finished/WIP submissions to his newsletter
via his iMECH Builders Group page on Fabebook.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/283521331771867/permalink/561779143946083/

"We're accepting submissions in our Facebook iMech Builders Group so that we can start including customer build-ups in our emails. Post a few images of your submissions in THIS THREAD and of course post in the group as usual for progress and final build discussions!

Submissions can be good final images or interesting in-progress pics. Please include a short description and optionally your name/website so we can link back to you.

I've always enjoyed sharing my works and love seeing what others do with the kits I design and produce. I look at our products as blank canvases limited only by your imagination. It's fantastic seeing everyone's take on color schemes and setting as well as modifications. I figure this is a great way of sharing great build-ups with those who might miss them otherwise.

Thanks!

No sorry, I'm not on Fakebook - I just stick to forums. Nice idea though and if I was on it, I would post something
I was going to sign up to his own forums if they are still operating and post it there

Freakin... this GB reminds me of the old "never bring a knife to a gun fight"....  and I brought a rusty spoon.   :o

What a beautiful build... I never get tired of looking at this.

What he said... just as the build is building (har!) in Intensity of Awesome, you up the ante with a simple, yet elegant and appropriate base!

I'm with yous guys. This GB has brought out some AMAZING talent.

Thank you all very much for your posts of encouragement - I sincerely appreciate them
I have run out of wire for the rigging and need to find an alternative pretty soon. Everything else is done and dusted

I've been thinking exactly the same thing. Going to extremely difficult to choose at the end

While I had the camera out I took some night shots of the completed base etc. For those of you who wondered what those protrusions on the sides of the landing pad were, now you shall see:

These will likely be the only lit shots I take as I broke the socket getting the plug in  It'll require major surgery to fix it which I can't be bothered doing right now. It'll be fixed for Expo next year though

Day light pictures to be taken over the upcoming weekend sorry
Thanks for looking

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Landing lights? What a splendid idea, superbly executed too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

After seeing that, I needed to go lie down on the floor for a while...
Thanks!
