Having opened the page, done something else and then come back the pics have appeared.
Good stuff.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's what happened when I tried to see them too. Weird..........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

It is weird. These are the only set of pictures that take time to open on my p.c. ??? Well worth the wait though

Pics now open faster than I can scroll.  As they should.
I can only think that imgur's server was to blame he said trying to sound like he knows about pooters.

Hopefully the Imgur servers decide to cooperate now...

I've basically called "finished" on my Ghibli Project as far as the actual GB goes... but the beat still marches on.

I'm trying to make sure I clear some half-completed projects off my desk before the next GB starts as I likely have more ideas than time/energy for that one.  So, it was back to the bench for the Lupin Fiat.

One nice thing about having a mold is that it's relatively easy to take several cracks at it.  One bad thing is that you constantly think "just one more pour, THEN it'll be perfect!".  It took me a few pours to figure out how to minimize bubbles in the resin (there were some recurring problem spots), but I finally settled on a shell as my "final answer".  The alternates came in handy as donor pieces for the door/engine cover.

Once the shell was finalized, I could finish off fitting the interior to the inside of the shell.  The wheel wells were relatively easy, but squeezing the dashboard in was a bit tricky.  Lots of little sanding... and yes, I managed to break he window frame.  :banghead:

Now that the dry fit is proven, the details and painting should roll downhill... or at least that's my theory!

Hopefully
Thanks!

Yeah... good theory!  Reality seems to have other plans.

I finally realized what was bugging me about this build.  The wheels... and thus the wheel wells are too big for the body.  Modifications are necessary.

Thanks!

Greg

He's aware of that, Brian. Maybe the thread just needs to be moved once voting has finished, so he can continue with his works. ;)

This thread will definitely continue on past the life of the GB.  I'm happy to just keep it here, continue it elsewhere or just start a new thread elsewhere... as the mods decree.
Thanks!

As Brian has said the GB is now closed, so if anyone wants any unfinished builds moved to current build threads PM me and I'll try and sort it.

Also the Poll will be up and running in the next couple of days.

Problem for you is that it's a combination thread with both completed & uncompleted works.

Why not copy it so strobez can add to the copy while the voters will go and look at the original?

Not certain it can be copied as such, at least not quickly. It would need individual pages "copying and pasting" into a new thread.

Doesn't mean it couldn't be done just need a little time and care. And then the correction of the inevitable muck-ups  :banghead:

Happy to look into it, but would be next week.
