This was my first-ever scratch-build, done back in the mid-80s.  I had a lot of fun building this - tried a lot of new-to-me stuff.  I was in the Navy, then - so as I moved (often! :-\) my models became damaged.  So, I renovated this one and still have it, sitting in my display case.  :)  I hope you like it.
