That's cool. An 1:72 IP kit (there was a resin kit, IIRC?) would be nice, too.

I'm 100% behind that idea, bring it on!

There was a resin A-12, yes, Anigrand maybe? There's a built one in the SIG display at the Coventry Aviation Museum, built by OGL I think.

An A-12 could very Whiffable, but I couldn't make the wings longer as normal, I might as well get the 1/48 scale version and put smaller markings on it.  ;D ;)

Its a planet tesin kit. And it was was built by Geoff B (aka thorvic)

Planet and Anigrand do the A-12 in 72nd, the one at Cov that i did will be the Anigrand kit as the Planet one came out after i built it.

I was almost right. Well, a bit...........................maybe.............  ;)

It still looks good though.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hannants have just had a rather large delivery of Modelcollect kits.

Some of the German WWII E series armour certainly looks tempting

I like the look of the E100 with the twin Flak 40s.  But where would it carry the ammo?
It'd need a dedicated ammo tank following it around.

The coastal defense truck with the really big gun on the back also attracts me.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Exotica aside, the range of MAN trucks and tractors provides a basis for all sorts of Cold-War/Modern whiffery.

For instance, you could say that the British Blue Water tactical nuclear missile went into service, and later had it's Bedford carrier vehicles replaced by MANs.

They have certainly brought out a lot of subjects that appeal to me for sure. The range of Russian tanks and vehicles especially have me drooling.

After releasing the heavy stuff (E-50/75 and E-100), Modelcollect seems to add a E-25 chassi in 1:72 soon:

I wasn't aware of that one Dizzy. I do like it though, very sporty looking.

Thanks for bringing it up

I am looking forward to it - the chassis lends itself to various conversions, good to have something lighter to work with than the huge E-50/75 and E-100 tanks. I can already see this one with a Kugelblitz turret...

Yes  and the turret might well go with a couple of other chassis as well ? The "poor old Pz 38" perhaps ? After all the Whermacht tried virtually everything else on it  ;)

Modelcollect announced on Facebook they will be releasing a 1/72 scale "Intercontinental Amerikabomber" as part of their Fist of War series of model kits.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Bring it on!!
I've got several of the "Fist of War" series AFV kits. A little expensive but, excellent quality. Only problem is that Modelcollect in general is that they tend to announce releases and, then  nothing happens for years.......! I think their promised 1/72 B-1B (announced 2016) is still apparently nowhere to be seen .
However, as actual bits of the Amerika Bomber have been illustrated, perhaps it's really going to happen? ;)  ;D

Intercontinental? The engines would be timed out before they got halfway across the Atlantic.  ;D
