Exactly, fuel ? roads ? other transport ? I know I'm just taking this far to seriously but I honestly cannot believe this was a serious proposal. It will just not get past the "gate keepers" of my imagination  ;)

Ah, but the tracked Ratte was simply proof of concept for the Hovercraft MkII...

The BLF things look.. silly.  At least to me.  Such "walkers" have never made much sense and any of the modern day bipedal walking robots have much different leg joint arrangements and active stability mechanisms.  So, the biped things have never cut it for me.  This, to include all of the "Dust" or Robotech or what have you.

That said, if those BLFs make money for Modelcollect then so much the better!  I'm really loving how they're building on all this and letting their creativity run riot when it comes to new kits.  The P300s are wonderfully absurd and will thus be a "must buy" for me as well.  I'll probably stock 'em with "armored infantry" guys instead of the walkers - gotta be more nimble and have a lower silhouette when taking on the alien-tech armored Soviet hordes attacking the Republic of Germany, don't you know! - as they'll be perfect for that.

Hell, the P300s would be about right as an ammunition schlepper for the P1000!

I'm another member of the Walker-Hater Club too. I'd much prefer to see sci-fi models that play with alternative wheel or track arrangements such as multiple articulated track units or wheels on the end of 'legs'.

I'm 100% behind that idea, bring it on!

There was a resin A-12, yes, Anigrand maybe? There's a built one in the SIG display at the Coventry Aviation Museum, built by OGL I think.

An A-12 could very Whiffable, but I couldn't make the wings longer as normal, I might as well get the 1/48 scale version and put smaller markings on it.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
