Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Yup. Luck, got tons of it ... All bad! :banghead:

Bit of a mishap with some of the paintwork. It's been fixed but has put me behind on my finish date.

Hopefully by late Friday.

There's a wave of 'pinkness' sweeping across the Antipodies............  ;D ;)

Actually it's Academy Model Kits styrene grey but, yes, in the image it does look pink. ;)

I thought you'd used the left over paint from Zenrat's pink creation  ;D It is strange though how some greys can look pinkish under some lights.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If you compare this;

with this;

you can see the difference between photo sessions using the same camera in almost identical lighting situations.

Weird, eh! :blink:

Very. Which is why I don't get to involved in some of the interminable colour arguments you read and hear.

Is it just me, or can you still see the shadow of the googly eyes peering through the paint job a bit? Love it!
Thanks!

Does General Atomics anti gravity technology work over water?
If so, this could have been eligible for the next GB as well as the current one.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I was figuring not, that it needed dense matter to act against.

I've also been thinking that there may be an optimum operational size/weight range for the system; so, if the vehicle is too small the antigrav system (excluding power source) is too big to make it practical, so jeeps/Humvees/Landy's/etc. are out; medium sized vehicles such as the M-1117/Unimogs/LAV's/etc. are OK; but tanks & heavy trucks, etc. require exponentially larger power sources which make the antigrav system impractical for them.

I've been thinking that because I've been contemplating giving my old Centurion XI hovertank a re-spray & joining the two in a dio. ;)

BTW: Decals are going on & I'm working on ancilliary figures to go with this. So, getting closer to finished but I have a week (7 days) of arvo's from tomorrow which will slow things down.

(Then I'm on leave for the lead-in to the SAPMA Expo. :thumbsup:)

Hovertank sounds good.
I've been thinking about '50's hovercars.  I have a number of kits that would look great floating 12 inches off the deck.
This Syd Mead pic has inspired me.
