-Vestigial wings intended to carry weapons or tanks.
-Jet based in Pegasus that moves rotors too. Nose intake. Maybe 2 or 4 swivelling nozzles.
-Aden cannon ventral pods.

There wouldn't be much room for the crew in there, the fuselage would be stuffed with Pegasus!  :o

Hi, PR19_Kit

IMHO there is room for a Pegasus, but I was wrong adding windows to cabin. Anyway I was thinking that something like a down sized and down rated Pegasus will be enough.

In this image, scale is correct and Pegasus is not down sized

Nicely done.

I'm glad I'm not the crew though, the Pegasus turbine is almost exactly in line with those guy's vital parts.  ;D ;D ;D <_< <_<

Land King: land based Sea King (with bits of Wessex)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

I like the concept of a 'Land King'. A pity the FAA called theirs 'Commandos' really.

Sud Bi-Bastan S-58, two coupled Bastan VI turboshafts each of 950 shp.  First flew 5 October 1962, the same day as the RAF's first coupled-Gnome Wessex!

Conversion kits were to have been manufactured along with similar packs for the Piasecki 44 / H-21, but ALAT was more interested in the forthcoming Puma.

Brief but revealing view of the US Navy's twin-T58 HSS-1F from 45 seconds into this video, including details of the access doors:

Quite different to the Wessex installation that used the same basic engine.  The HSS had them mounted horizontally and both exhausted to port.

A very simple Wessex/S-58 whiff, which might slip unnoticed past many a JMN, is to cut a second door into the port side.

I know it's probably wrong sizewise, but the top one makes me think of a Westland Wesminster ? (although having just looked at photos the tail-boom is 'plumper' more of a Blackhawk shape?
Oh to be whiffing again :-(
