just finished this little one today, my first UAV kit and a little in-between project.
the MQ-1B Predator is one of the possible contenders to replace Belgium's ageing IAI RQ-5 B-Hunter UAV's.

the kit is Italeri's 1/72 MQ-1A/B Predator kit with decals leftover from my DACO Agusta A109 sheet with roundels from the spares box.

on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Nice to see one with full colour markings for a change
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yes!  Holy hell, yes. I understand the modern day move toward the grey schemes, practically speaking, but have always had an affinity for color on military aircraft, beit roundels or of the purely decorative type.

This is great...  I've (not to say there are none, just speaking on what I have seen in the short 1 year I've been a member)  yet to see a drone here. Now that I have..., it's like an itch has finally been scratched.

Nice works, Nils!

does anyone else think like me and notice that the thing seems to be really under-weaponised with only two missiles?

If not mistaken, that's pretty much all these carry or at least all they -did- carry back when these particular models were first weaponized. These aren't very big.

Now, the Global Hawk on the other hand....
