I have somehow won one of these on ebay, not that I remember even bidding on one, but I am sure I am not alone in doing such a feat.
Anyhow it will make a good addition to my fleet of varying Mirages/Kfirs, and hybrids that I have been doing of late.
Has anyone here built one, as I can't find a review of said kit. I am hoping it isn't a P.I.T.A like the Mirage IV was I did of theirs.
Cheers

Really? I loved doing the one I've got, which was the 1/72 scale one. Was yours 1/48?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Some of the Mirage IV kits especially a batch or the Green plastic, black heller boxed ones were rather warped, later grey sprues were a lot better to build.

The 2000 B is the same base kit as the Airfix one so its Ok I think, the Italeri/Revell kit may be slightly better on details

Cheers,
Yes I built the version Geoff mentions, it was warped and a pain to get right, but got there in the end. I have done the Italeri/Revell 2000c and Italeri 2000D both nice kits to build, so good to know this will be ok. Another IV would be nice to do in the later grey plastic as I have ideas for another one of those. My current build is the 1964 moulding of the mirage III, what a horrid kit it is, lots of putty and styrene strips to fill gaps, lots of sanding of the raised panel lines too. Done a lot of modifications to it too so when done I will get some pictures done of it.

The Heller Mirage IV is still available so should be able to get a recent moulding in the soft grey plastic for a normal price, however there is a new tooling due sometime this year from Russia/Ukraine (test shots shown at shows but no specific manufacturer identified as yet).

Cheers Geoff, I have heard rumours that Modelsvit are bringing out a mirage 4000, that will be nice to have, but their models are all a nightmare to buiild, so will see.
